This past Saturday I visited my son in Alameda.   He took me to one of his favorite Japanese restaurants.   Salmon Donburi - delicious!

10 Years of Blogging. Hard to believe. Well, minimal blogging though...

Hawklyn.org has been reclaimed.   I'll probably begin using that for email.

With the advent of more widespread cloud computing I've been using more diverse tools to track information.

Hawklyn.org may be a site for me to use as a central reference point, as opposed to my Google Site.

This site has been my intended area of ORIGINAL content generation.   Regurgitated web content I find interesting is public in either News or History, my public Evernote clippings.

My latest guess:  The template.  In my absence from the blog, the pre-existing templates have been re-worked.  In part, evidently, to support 'mobile' devices.   Once I switched to the newer template (losing the Lighthouse background image..) The entry was saved.
